| | Matthias Springer ...
discovered his passion for electronic sounds at the
young age of 15, inspired by DJs like Talle2XLC and Marc Spoon. Later
he was affected by the straight sounds of acts like Johannes Heil or
Pascal FEOS.
So he decided to buy his own equipment at the age of 17. At that time
he organized a lot of private underground parties in the south of
Thuringia/Germany together with DJ D.A.K. and LJ Funky.. Because of the straight progressive techno sound, these parties became
very famous within a short time. During his first gig at the K2 Club
inKronach, he met DukeXS for the first time, who supported him to
gethis first residency at the Matrix in Coburg.
| So he also had the ossibility to make his sound public at some great regional open airfestivals. From 2000 to 2005 he had to make a break in dj-ingbecause of some job-related circumstances. However he made his first steps in producing during his sparetime. After some net-releaseshis first tracks were published at the end of 2008 on "Punkt vor Strich" and "Dead Riot Music", some releases on the Miami based abel "Intermission Ltd." and his own label "MFSound" will followsoon.Beside this Matthias Springer works as A&R for the WebTV-Station quintessenz / electrosound.tv" , which he has built up together withhis friend and DJ-colleague Motus.Matthias Springer?s style is hard to describe and very versatile, so he ses a lot of aliases for his productions which each covers one part ofhis musical spectrum. So releases as "MFS" represent raw edged and volving techno beats, influenced by some kind of Detroit-Techno,thrilling your mind and making no compromises. So most of thesetracks are even longer than 8 or 10 minutes, because it needs time to tell a story in only one track. "Matthias Springer" himself stands forgroovy and fluffy music with a deep bass and high glaced chords. His ast alias "Aksutique" mirrors his passion for slow sounds anddowntempo. At the momement this project is only for producingoversized mixes for relaxing-times, influcend by a lot of ambient and psychedelic crusades through deep and dark gaps, finally findingyourself in an old and smoky jazzbar. Some releases are still inprogress. But in the end there is one basic genre that brings all his lter-egos together and which will never lose importance to him, andthat is Acid! It is permanently present in his productions as main element or only as acoustic gloss, but the little acid-frogs are yellingt you, you only have to find them
